Doom Patrol (2019-2021), a DC series featuring eccentric, surly, anti-social, and freakish characters makes for the most unlikely group of superheroes known to man. They quickly grew on audiences – not because they’re easily approachable or even heroic in their appeal to society, but because they make audiences fall in love with their broken, tainted, and even hopelessly nihilistic selves. The ridiculously funny series that did well among its limited audience is now struggling to stay afloat amid recent changes under the new leadership of Warner Bros. CEO. Discovery, David Zaslav. Titans faces a similar decision, although the impact of the first one will be felt on a much larger scale. Shows like HArley Quinn, Peacemakerand penguinon the other hand, have a sure fate in the franchise, at least for the foreseeable future.
