Do you remember the first part of avengers? Thor and Iron Man clashed because Tony doesn’t trust anyone from above.
Fans had a great time of joy, thrill and action seeing a Greek god and mortal combat not knowing that they both wanted peace for this world.
Well, maybe the epic fight between this duo will return in What If Season 2!
What will be the plot of this episode?
In the first season of What If, we saw Tony and Gamora fight alongside Sakaar, possibly to escape the planet.
And in Season 2, there will definitely be an episode where that part of Tony’s story is elaborated.
There’s only one possibility that Tony crashed in Sakaar, as he was leaving Earth in his Hulk Buster and a Quinjet, as he was blamed and criticized for creating Ultron, which led to many disasters.
Just as Hulk became Sakaar’s warrior champion in MCU, Tony with the Hulk Buster now had the same right.
Thor’s Big Fight Against Iron Man’s Hulk Buster
Much like the original story, Thor will accidentally reach Sakaar while battling Hela. But, he will then be kidnapped by the Grand Master and sent to fight their Champion. Tony and Thor have come face to face, but unlike the Hulk in the MCU, Tony will definitely recognize Thor in this episode.
The leaked trailer for What If Season 2 has Grand Master visuals, and it could possibly be from this episode. It will be interesting to see how the fight between Thor and Tony begins even after they recognize each other.
Could Tony’s opponent be Gamora?
We saw Gamora in the first season alongside Tony in What If Season 1. So we can expect that in this reality, Gamora will fight the Grandmaster’s Champion. Later, they discussed and fought together to escape the planet.
But Marvel fans are definitely ready to see a fight between their two favorites, Thor and Iron Man. Let’s see what alternate realities are planned for the next season of What If.
