Ponckle, after breaking up with Ken Moule, met photographer Trevor Clark. She married him in 1964 and gave birth to his sons, Gavin and Jake. The family moved to Mallorca in 1969, where Trevor started out as a travel photographer.
Ponckle and Moule have worked side by side on many projects. She was his stylist and started doing large fabric collage portraits.
After seven years in Spain, she returned to England with Gavin and Jake and divorced Trevor. However, she continued to create fabric portraits.
In 1974, the artist organized a personal exhibition at the Courtauld Institute in London.
