BROOKLYN, NEW YORK CITY: On Friday, August 12, in Brooklyn, New York City police discovered a man inside a trash compactor with injuries consistent with being “crushed” by the compacting unit. The wounds were discovered on the man who was discovered. The video was captured by a security camera in a building at the Medgar Evers Residences in Brooklyn, New York. It shows the moments before a man climbs into a garbage pit and falls dead as a woman and another man look on. After some time, the mutilated body of the unidentified man was discovered at the bottom of the chute. He was already dead 15 minutes before his body was discovered after a fatal fall. There is no evidence in the CCTV footage that shows keys were thrown down the hole.

The man is seen having a conversation with another man before opening the garbage chute hatch and placing half of his body inside. After that, it looks like he’s sitting on the open hatch, and a woman joins him and the other person. In what would turn out to be the man’s final moments, the woman can be seen in the video holding the bottom of the hatch as if trying to stop him from falling out of his seat. After that, it appears that he is sitting on the edge of the garbage pit before making the decision to lie down on the trap door of the pit, which is held down by the woman, in order to descend into the abyss. Neighbors said the man went down the garbage chute to try to retrieve his keys. The NYPD has not commented on why the man entered the garbage chute.
Authorities are investigating whether the man died as a direct result of the fall or if he accidentally entered the compaction area of the dumpster, where he was discovered disfigured. The conversation between the two men continues even after the body of the deceased has been placed inside the chute and the door has been closed. The woman and the other man then put their heads inside the garbage hole while using their smartphones as a light source to monitor their companion. The second man then places his head, both arms, and body inside the chute, and the woman grabs his lower torso in an effort to keep him from falling.
Police said they don’t know whether or not the man lived in the apartment building. According to a statement to the New York Post by a building resident named Anthony Gordon, who is 60 and lives on the fourth level, “If you throw your keys in the incinerator, leave them.” “There’s always the possibility of getting more keys created, but there’s no way to get another life.” Why bother collecting your keys from the incinerator? Gordon added. “I would recommend leaving them where they are, either waiting for the repair to arrive or having another set of shoes produced. When I was younger, I accidentally lost my keys in an incinerator, and I never bothered to get them back,” he continued. Prince Watson, who is another resident of the property and lives on the fifth floor, said he had never seen the people on the CCTV tape, although he noted that it was not unusual to see strangers in the apartment complex. Watson, who is 30, told the Post, “I’ve never heard of this before, but it’s 2022 for you. “I’ve never heard of anything like this before.” He went on to say, “That’s just plain dumb.” “They clearly lack any form of common sense as they make you go to management in order to get new keys. You don’t play at all so little importance like that.
