However, it is still unclear what caused his disappearance. He claimed in his Weird Arm vlog that a car accident in 1999 left him with a deformed left arm.
In March 2020, he underwent surgery to amputate part of his right leg due to infection. After that, he moved to his sister’s house in Oklahoma from his old home near Batesville, Arkansas.
He posted a pain straining video two weeks ago. He claimed that his right shoulder caused him a lot of trouble. The slightest weight on his right shoulder would cause him excruciating pain.
He also mentioned how difficult it was to get in and out of the wheelchair. The discomfort was compounded by the fact that he had to pull himself out of the chair using his arms. He therefore limited himself to using his left arm, which was also broken.
However, due to having to bear more weight, his left arm had started to hurt so badly that he wanted to scream. He admitted to using painkillers like candy, but he made sure the daily dose was okay.
At that time, many people were praying for the anguish to end quickly. However, his passing is currently mourned online. He was cheerful and smiled for the camera despite his discomfort, which melted many people’s hearts. As a result, he won the admiration of many.

Over a year ago, Tinfoichef posted an apology video on his YouTube channel. He described how a blog he posted over a decade ago hurt and offended several people.
He claimed to have written articles about homosexuality and religion. He claimed it was a project he started but abandoned. However, he did not delete the page and some people who read it were furious at what he had written.
As a result, it sparked debate last year, as many condemned him for his views. However, he expressed regret for his actions. He claimed that even though he had done it more than ten years before, it hurt some people and he felt bad about it.
He honestly apologized and assured everyone that he took the page down and it would never reappear online. He further clarified that he no longer has the same opinions as in the past and that he has no desire to hurt anyone.

Tinfoiched, born June 29, 1959, was the oldest living hermit. At the time of his death, he was 63 years old.
