After leading Shang Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, Destin Daniel Cretton Could Return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Direct Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
Marvel’s announcement of its Phase 5 and Phase 6 movies aren’t the studio’s only plans. They kept the suspense on some of the projects they want to reveal right now.
There might still be other characters to get their intro movies. Once that’s done, they can also be incorporated into the Avengers movie in 2025. Director Kevin Fiege and Daniel Cretton will be responsible for making this movie worth watching.
The Multiverse Saga
At San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Fiege revealed that Phases 4, 5, and 6 are called The Multiverse Saga. He showed how the Infinity Saga ended with Avengers: Endgame and how the multiverse saga will end again with two consecutive Avengers films.
Cretton’s Involvement Is Very Reassuring For The Next Avengers Movie
After the release of Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the sequel to this film was quickly confirmed. So with Cretton returning to the MCU in Avengers: Kang Dynasty, you can probably confirm the MCU’s plans for Shang Chi II, which is not revealed during Comic Con.
There are no announcements for the directors of Avengers: Secret Wars. But Kevin Feige has confirmed that the Russo Brothers, directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, are not involved.
Marvel fans are about to experience thrill and action brought to life by the new directors on board. We have seen how magnificent the Russo Brothers are. But it will be even better to settle in theaters with new expectations from new directors.
What matters now is how Marvel plots the whole story and directs it to Avengers: Kang Dynasty. So far, Phase 4 has been a disaster compared to Phases 1, 2, and 3. Fans are expecting changes in writers, VFX artists, and directors. This will help Marvel Studios bring back the lost MCU charm in future movies.
