New ‘Madame Web’ Set Photos Reveal A Spider-Man Comic Easter Egg

New images of Sony’s set coming soon Madame Web reveal that the movie should feature a niche Marvel location amazing spider man comics.

Looks like Madame Web will feature more nods to Marvel’s most famous wall-crawler than Sony’s other Spider-Man spin-offs. Recent reports have suggested that Adam Scott is playing a young Ben Parker in the film, with Emma Roberts supposedly appearing as Peter Parker’s mother, Mary.

Now, a favorite Peter Parker lair has also been revealed to appear in Spidey’s upcoming spin-off.

New photos shared by Twitter user @NancyWheelhouse show Madame Web4 star dinner set.

The 4 Star Diner was introduced in amazing spider man Flight. 2 Number 30. It was introduced as a place where Peter Parker used to hang out with his friends during his college years. While this is a niche detail of Spidey’s comic book history, it marks one more connection between Madame Web and Peter Parker.

With several major Spider-Man characters seemingly appearing in Madame Web and now a place in Peter Parker’s comic book story is also shown, it seems likely that the movie will serve as a prequel story of sorts to Spider-Man’s crime-fighting career.

Here’s the synopsis for Sony’s latest Marvel movie, Morbius:

“One of Marvel’s most compelling and divisive characters hits the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic anti-hero Michael Morbius. Dangerously afflicted with a blood disease rare and determined to save others suffering the same fate, Dr. Morbius makes a desperate gamble, and what at first appears to be a drastic success, a darkness within him is unleashed and turns this healer into a hunter.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbius stars Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach produced the project with Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel overseeing it for Sony.
