A stroke was the cause of Keith Dinicol’s death. He died on November 18, 2021, at the age of 69.
Dinicol’s son, Sam, confirmed the tragic news of his father’s departure in a letter on Facebook. He had composed a long obituary for his dead father.
Sam wrote: “On Thursday my dad passed away from a stroke. He is leaving abruptly. While there are no words to express the shock and loss we are going through at this time, I can put together a few to explain the kind of man Keith Dinicol was.
Dinicol was a devoted husband and father. In 1996, he married Emma Dinicol, his wife.
Sam Dinicol, one of three children Keith and his wife Emma raised in Stratford during 29 seasons with the Festival, posted on Facebook that Keith died suddenly of a stroke at the end of the last week.
Joe Dinicol, his second son, continued in his footsteps. Joe is well known for his role as Rory Regan, aka Ragman, in the fifth season of Arrow. Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Diary of the Dead and The Virgin Suicides are three of his other significant roles.
Additionally, Keith has a daughter named Sophie who had a good relationship with her in-laws, John and Caroline Neville.
