All About Carol Vorderman’s Sister: Trixie Vorderman

British TV personality Carol Vorderman grew up in Prestatyn with her siblings Anton and Trixie Vorderman.

She is the eldest child of her Welsh mother Edwina Jean Davies and her Dutch father Anton Vorderman. Carol, his sister, is the youngest of his parents’ three children. Three weeks after his birth, the couple separated.

The former Countdown singer told the Guardian that her father was having an affair with a 16-year-old girl while her mother was expecting Carol. When Edwina’s baby was three weeks old, she learned of the relationship and ran away.

The family were then sent to Edwina’s hometown of Prestatyn, Denbighshire, North Wales, where Trixie and her siblings had been raised by a single parent.

In 1970, Trixie’s mother married Armido Rizzi, an Italian. After ten years of marriage, the couple decided to separate. In the early 1990s, after his father’s second marriage, his first wife died.

Carol began attending Blessed Edward Jones High School. She enrolled at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge in 1978 to study engineering. The TV personality received a third-class degree from college.

It wasn’t until 2007 that the former Countdown star discovered his Dutch ancestry. She later learned that her father had resided with the Dutch family during the Nazi occupation. Sadly, Tony passed away while filming the series.

With matching bottoms, the 61-year-old flaunts her well-known curves in a black and pink cropped swimwear. The Countdown star relaxes while on vacation at the fitness center at Juicy Oasis.

She posted brief videos on social media urging her followers to join her and have fun on the video-sharing app while she is also a TikTok user.

Along with her two children, Cameron and Katie, Carol was accompanied to the Pride of Britain Awards in October 2021 by her bog brother Anton Vorderman. Due to lung problems, Anton, who was residing in the Netherlands, traveled to Thailand.
