‘She’s got the energy and stamina of 100 mere mortals’: She-Hulk director wants Jennifer Lopez to join the MCU because JLo stands up for female directors

Kat Coiro directed a total of six episodes for the Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Lawyer. Of all the experiences she’s had spending time on set of this Phase Four creation, however, there is one small hitch. There was no Jennifer Lopez in sight. Although the director has likened the effort of working at Marvel to a dream come true, she also wants the world-famous singer to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Upon the film’s release, the director praised Lopez via an Instagram post in which she said:

“So many people came together to make this movie but I have to start with the queen, the queen herself, Jennifer Lopez. Yes, she’s just as beautiful in real life. Yes, she has the energy and the stamina to ‘one hundred mere mortals. Yes, she’s talented, driven, family oriented, hardworking, thoughtful, prepared, smart, transcendent, sensational, just as awesome behind the scenes as she is on camera […]

@Jlo brings out the best in everyone around her. In me, the executives, the other actors, the dancers, the crew, everyone wants to give 1000% when they are in her presence because she always gives as much, if not more… Despite everything, she is humble, deferential and collaborative. She is inspiring and awesome and I am grateful to know her. Also look at its female champion directors.
