‘Until Chris Rock’s Here’: Internet Divided After New Saw Movie’s Official Release Date

The horror franchise Seen is created by Australian filmmakers James Wan and Leigh Whannell. It consists of nine feature films and additional media. The first eight films revolve around fictional serial killer John “Jigsaw” Kramer, while the ninth film revolves around a copycat killer while maintaining continuity with the previous films. With the announcement of a 10th film at Seen franchise, the internet is split as some fans favor another Seen film while others are against it.

Internet shared with the official release date of the 10th Saw movie

The untitled Seen the film will be the tenth part of the Seen franchise and will be directed by Kevin Greutert. He previously led Saw VI (2009) and Saw: The Final Chapter (2010). He was editor of the first five installments of the franchise and Jigsaw (2017).

For now, Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are keeping the plot and characters a secret for the time being, but have promised that the film “capture their hearts – and other body parts – with all-new ingenious and twisted traps andD a new mystery to solve.

Franchise producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said they are working on what fans have always asked for and plan to bring them the same.

“We’ve listened to what fans have been asking for and are working hard to plan a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love.”

They still say:

“And part of that is handing over the reins to Saw VI director Kevin Greutert, who is still a fan favorite in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon.

The film series as a whole received mixed to negative reviews, but it remains one of the highest-grossing horror movie franchises of all time.

With another film in the franchise on the way, fans have both negative and positive approaches to the announcement.
