The internet has been shocked by the mysterious death of former Newsday editor Suzzane Mills. Although police said there were no signs of foul play, she was reportedly found dead in her home.
Loop says that at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, police attended Mills’ home on Aquamarine Drive in Diamond Vale, Diego Martin.
When they arrived, the other people who lived there told them that their landlord, Mills, had been gone for five days. They called the police as soon as they smelled something bad coming from his side of the house.
The door to Mills’ apartment was smashed in and rescuers called the fire department to let them know. In addition, his corpse was found in his room at 11:58 p.m.

“Due to a lung infection, I went into a catatonic state where I couldn’t move or speak and was inches away from dying. Before my tenant called an ambulance for me after being in my gallery for over 48 hours,” she wrote.

Mills said she didn’t know she disappeared because she was so drunk. She said that during her stay at the Hilton, she hid from the nurses who were going to lock her up in St. Ann’s Hospital.
She also booked a room in a hotel in central Jerusalem and a flight to Tel Aviv. She never went on that flight or to that place. Eventually, she was reunited with her family.
