She-Hulk episode 2 is out now. The episode itself felt like filler and was extremely short. Nevertheless, there were many hidden details here and there. The biggest was a news article that officially introduced Wolverine to the MCU.
Wolverine press article
The first episode ended with Jen revealing her powers to the world as she became She-Hulk to save the jury from the Titania court. However, this has consequences. She loses the case because the case was declared a nullity. Indeed, Jen positively influenced and biased the jury by saving their lives. Jen is fired from her job as her She-Hulk powers have made her a liability for the DA’s office. It is also refused by several other companies for the same reason. Having lost all hope, Jen surfs the internet looking for quirky jobs for a fresh start. In the article, there is a related articles section where a headline reads, “Man fights with metal claws in bar fight.” This obviously refers to Wolverine. Not only does he like alcohol, but he almost always fights drunk and isn’t afraid to use his claws.
We now know that mutants exist in the MCU thanks to the introduction of Ms. Marvel. However, the official introduction of one of the most important X-Men is certainly a wonderful surprise. Most Fans Didn’t Expect Marvel To Tease X-Men And The Wolverine soon.
Wolverine’s Future
Wolverine is extremely unlikely to appear in She-Hulk. This is especially true since a mutant project has yet to be announced, and Marvel wouldn’t just be introducing Wolverine. It’s probably how Marvel says that mutants exist in their world and that they will probably soon be on our screens. However, there is a small chance that it actually appears and not just as a name. After all, the show is going to explore Jen’s role as the head of her company’s Superhuman division. Considering Wolverine just got into a bar fight and was exposed as a man with metal claws, maybe he just needs a lawyer in his corner. Who better than She-Hulk, right?
