Max began his career as a music video director in the 2000s. He has worked alongside artists such as Three Days Grace, Bullet For My Valentine, T-Pain, Willie Nelson, BB King and others. Inspired by the work of his own father, Max made his film debut as a director in 2014, with the film “Two Night Stands”, the story of Megan and Alec, two strangers who meet via a dating site. While trapped in Alec’s apartment, they are forced to come to terms with each other’s personalities and their feelings about it.
Max expressed his thoughts on the film: ‘…the electronic dating slash connection made the aftermath of being dumped, as Megan just was, easy and private.’
Max Nichols introduced the film’s plot to his father Mike, and simultaneously realized that the film reflected his history with his own wife, Rachel: “He (Max’s father) wisely introduced the subject of whether the relationship of Megan and Alec’s ambition was a trap…. We eventually concluded that they were giving each other permission to want what they really wanted, rather than what they were supposed to want…I first heard that from my wife when we were dating.”
In 2017, Max directed the episode “Oasis” of the series “Day 5”, with Jesse C. Boyd.
The drama series is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in which a group of people try to fight an epidemic that has affected the entire human race.
Max Nichols was also credited as director for “Chemistry Lessons” and “Heft,” but those projects are still in post-production and don’t yet have a release date.

She attended Northwestern University, from where she earned a degree in journalism. Her career began in the early 1990s, when she began writing for the sports pages of various magazines such as the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel and the Washington Post section for the National Hockey League (NHL).
In 2004, she made her television debut when she joined ESPN and appeared as the host of various shows on the network, including “Monday Night Countdown”, “SportsCenter”, “The Jump” and “Sunday NFL Countdown”. She also hosted the CNN show “Unguarded with Rachel Nichols.”

He made his film debut as director of the film “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” who won five Academy Awards and critical acclaim for his work. The following year, he directed the film “The Graduate”, which earned him the Oscar for best director.
