Martin’s soccer his career was relatively short and he was for teams like Hove Alboin and Brighton from 1982 to 1983. He then played for Southhampton FC for a year from 1983 to 1984.

Hyde’s sporting career was cut short in 1984 when he started working as a managing director/sales manager for a London-based company named Copyforce Limited. He remained employed with the company until it moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1999.
