Details hidden in the opening credits

First scene of the opening credits of House of the Dragon

The opening credits begin with an emblem containing several dragons, likely representing House Targaryen. There is some sort of mechanical movement on this emblem which then began to shed a line of blood.

The bloodline kept touching different emblems and it redirected the blood further. All emblems bore the signatures of different Houses, which will be conquered or destroyed by House Targaryen in the future.

At some point, the lineage of two emblems simply blended to spread out in 9 directions. Therefore, it could indicate an alliance between two houses that resulted in bloodshed for 9 different kingdoms or territories.

Probably, it could also indicate that some kind of possession held by these two houses represented by an emblem is attacked by 9 different houses or territories.

In short, the theme of the opening credits was to show that alliances, war victories and everything else about these empires had to go through bloodshed.

At the end we see the House of Dragon logo, which indicates that all this bloodshed will be related to the Iron Throne and the House of Dragon.

Every emblem in the opening credits could have a role to play in this series, which is yet to be revealed. This is because we have only come across 2 episodes so far. Let’s wait for more relevant theories in the future that will return to the opening credits.
