What Does Rey Mysterio Look Like? Here Are The Wrestler Photos Without Mask

WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio, whose real name is Scar Gutiérrez, is well known for his short stature, masked face, and exceptional athleticism. Rey has won a number of major championships including the World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, and Intercontinental Championship three times.

Rey Mysterio has achieved great things despite being only 5ft 6in tall, like winning the WWE Championship and outwitting 29 other superstars to secure the No. 2 spot in the Royal Rumble.

Whether battling a fearsome monster like Kane or leaping from the top of a steel cage, The Ultimate Underdog is renowned for showing no fear in the ring.

Before he was even old enough to drive, Rey Mysterio received training in the legendary Mexican tradition of Lucha Libre. He adopted his ring name in memory of his uncle and, in accordance with the lucha ritual, hid his face behind a mask.

Photos of Rey Mysterio without a mask: what does he look like?

Rey Mysterio’s mask is what most wrestling fans are familiar with, but these images of Mysterio in normal life without a mask have to be seen.

One of the main reasons the Mexican wrestler is one of the best and most well-known wrestlers in the world is because of his masks. He always looks good and the mask has been crucial to his professional success.

He now exudes mystique and therefore has the distinctive appearance of a superhero.

However, there are a few photos of Mysterio without his mask. A few images of his uncovered face will be included in this post.

In a mask versus hair battle in February 1999, Rey Mysterio and Kanon took on Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Rey Mysterio was, per the condition, to lose a mask in the middle of the ring after Mysterio and Kanon lost the match.

The following year, 2002, Mysterio joined WWE, and after joining his organization, Vince McMahon demanded that Mysterio resume wearing his mask.

Vince McMahon seems to have made the right choice in having Rey Mysterio put his mask back on after the signing as the former WWE Champion’s masks are regularly among the top selling items at WWE events.

Rey Mysterio Has Two Kids, Son Dominik Mysterio and Daughter Aalyah Gutierrez—Find Out Age

Dominik and Aalyah are the happy children of Rey Mysterio. His younger sister is 21 and Dominik is 25.

On his right and left hands he has the names of his children, one for his wife, and EG, who replaces an old pal who died tragically in 2005. He has tattoos of religious images on his body since he is a Christian.

His son, American professional wrestler Dominik Gutiérrez, is currently signed to WWE and competes under the ring name Dominik Mysterio.

The WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship has never been won by a father and son combination. Aalyah has appeared on WWE storylines and backstage with her father since she was a young girl, although she has never competed in the ring.

Dominik and his father engaged in a conflict with Buddy Murphy and Seth Rollins in 2020. To his father’s amazement, Aalyah and Murphy develop a romantic relationship as part of the storyline.

The idea was scrapped, however, and after the episode, Aalyah began appearing less frequently during WWE’s Thunderdome era.
