The first official image of the next MonsterVerse show located in the Godzilla the universe teases the Monarch organization.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that a new Apple TV series set in the Godzilla MonsterVerse was in development. As time went on, the cast was revealed, as were series details leaked. Now at least fans have their first official look at the upcoming series which teases the inclusion of Monarch. You can see the full image below:
In the MonsterVerse series, Monarch is an organization whose actual function is relatively vague. For the most part, they seem to follow the Kaiju, assess the damage they cause, and advise the government on how to move forward. They were first introduced in the 2014 movie, Godzilla before having more important roles in Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters before being discarded in Godzilla vs. Kong.
In addition to MosterVerse series, a movie is in the works that will once again focus on Godzilla and Kong. This time around, the film is said to be a team-up flick as the two iconic titans battle a new threat. Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard is set to return to helm the project.

Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that razed San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the series explores a family’s journey to uncover their buried secrets and a legacy connecting them to the known secret organization. under the Monarch name.
Created by Matt Fraction and Chris Black, the upcoming series stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski. WandaVision’s Matthew Shakman is directing two episodes of the series. Safehouse Pictures’ Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold and Toho Co.’s Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita are also on board as executive producers.
