The first trailer for the next Disney Plus series Percy Jackson and the Olympians was revealed at D23 Expo.
The fantasy series is based on the book series of the same name by author Rick Riordan. The series had already been adapted into two films in the early 2010s. The Disney Plus series will feature The Adam Project Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, the demigod son of the Greek god Poseidon.
The first trailer for the series offers a glimpse of Walker Scobell’s Percy Jackson and his arrival at Camp Half-Blood.
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians The trailer features a voiceover from Walker Scobell’s Percy Jackson, issuing a dire warning to his fellow demigods or half-bloods.
The Disney Plus series will follow Scobell’s Percy Jackson as he embarks on a quest across America to find the lost lightning bolt of Zeus, who is accused of stealing it himself. At Camp Half-Blood, Percy meets other demigods who join him on his adventure.

Join Walker Scobell in Percy Jackson and the Olympians are Leah Jeffries, who plays Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri, who plays Grover Underwood. The series is slated for release in 2024 on Disney Plus.
