PK Subban is an unsigned professional ice hockey defenseman. Subban most recently played for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

In the fourth round (115th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, the Vancouver Canucks selected him. He was granted a three-year entry-level contract by the Canucks on May 14, 2015. He was traded to the American Hockey League affiliate Canucks after training camp for the 2015–16 campaign.
The defender has spent the entire season with the Comets, playing 67 games and contributing 11 goals and 25 assists.
Jordan signed a one-year AHL contract with the Hershey Bears on August 12, 2021, after sitting out the shortened and pandemic-disrupted 2020-21 season as a free agent.
Natasha and Nastassia are PK Subban’s sisters
The eldest of Subban’s family is Nastassia. Nastassia is a teacher of Jane and Finch who helps with the school’s hot lunch program, which provides students who miss breakfast with a nutritious meal.
At first, PK’s older sister wanted to work in family law to help children and their parents, but she soon decided that was not the career for her.
Natasha also entered the teaching profession and is now passing on her expertise in the arts to her students at Elmbank Middle Junior School.
After tests reveal the children are struggling to read, PK’s older sister is also tasked with improving literacy at her school.

PK Subban and Lindsey Vonn declared their engagement over on Instagram on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. In August 2019, PK proposed to Lindsey, and they later got engaged.
Also shortly after Christmas, she made him a proposal. At the time, Lindsey said men could also wear engagement rings.
Since PK and Lindsey posted the same Instagram photo with identical messages, the split appears to be amicable.
In his statement, the hockey player called Lindsey “one of the most caring people I know” and said they had “chosen to move forward separately.”

Junior
Subban played junior hockey for the Belleville Bulls (OHL) of the Ontario Hockey League. He scored 12 points in 52 games in his rookie season in 2005-06. He rose to 56 points in 68 games in 2006-07, the season in which the Canadiens then selected him in the second round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Subsequently, Subban finished the 2007-08 season with 46 points in just 58 games, before finishing the playoffs with 23 points and a total of eight goals identical to his regular season total. He helped Belleville reach the J. Ross Robertson Cup Final against the Kitchener Rangers, when they were defeated in seven games to lose the OHL Championship. During the 2008–09 regular season, Subban ended his four-year junior career with 76 points in 56 games, helping the Bulls reach the OHL Semifinals before losing.

Two weeks after his last junior game, in May 2009, the Canadiens signed Subban to a three-year entry-level contract. He started the 2009-2010 campaign with Montreal’s American Hockey League (AHL) club, the Hamilton Bulldogs. He was then selected to play in the 2010 AHL All-Star Game in Portland later in the season. Shortly after, on February 11, 2010, he received his first call-up to the Canadiens. The next day, February 12, he made his NHL debut against the Philadelphia Flyers and scored his first point of the season, an assist.
In the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs between the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals on April 26, 2010, Subban was recalled from Hamilton. In his first NHL playoff game of his career on April 26, he notched an assist for his first NHL playoff point. On April 30, 2010, he scored his first goal in Game 1 of the Canadiens’ second-round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Subban became just the third rookie defenseman in Canadiens history to get three assists in a single game in Game 3 of the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals against the Philadelphia Flyers. Overall, Subban had eight points and one goal in 14 playoff games for the Canadiens, who lost to Philadelphia.
Subban was traded back to the Bulldogs, who were still in contention for the Calder Cup playoffs, following the Canadiens’ loss to the Flyers. Subban received the AHL President’s Award at the end of the AHL season in honor of his accomplishments over the previous 12 months.
In an 8-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on March 20, 2011, Subban became the first Canadiens rookie defenseman to score a hat trick in a single game.

At the 2008 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in the Czech Republic, Subban was chosen to represent Canada. Although he got little playing time as Canada’s seventh defenseman, he was able to help the team win their fourth consecutive gold medal by beating Sweden in the tournament final. At the 2009 World Juniors in Ottawa, Subban once again represented Canada while assuming a more prominent position on the team. He contributed three goals, nine points and a +12 goal differential to Canada’s fifth consecutive gold medal against Sweden in the tournament final. Along with Cody Hodgson and Tournament MVP John Tavares, Subban was selected to the Tournament All-Star Team.
Subban had the opportunity to compete in the 2012 IIHF World Championship, but was injured prior to the event. Subban was a late addition to the Canadian squad for the 2013 tournament the following season; he played one game in the knockout stage, which Canada lost. As part of Canada’s defense of their gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Subban was named to the team on January 7, 2014. They beat Sweden 3-0 to win the tournament gold medal.
