Letitia Wright, while speaking to PEOPLE, shared an emotional note about how she sometimes felt like a failure. At times like these, she could feel an encouraging aura from the late actor around her telling her to keep fighting:

“I’ll always have moments of doubt, and I’m like, ‘Oh man, I don’t know if I can do this.’ i could just hear [Boseman] be like, ‘Sister, you’re awesome. You have this. I’m proud of you.’ It really allowed me to move forward.

After Chadwick Boseman’s passing, Marvel Studios announced that they weren’t going to be recasting the character of T’Challa but handing over the mantle of Black Panther to someone else. Apparently, Letitia Wright’s Shuri is the newest and most likely contender for the title.

After Letitia Wright, M’Baku actor Winston Duke also talked about how totally different the setting was without Chadwick Boseman. The actor confessed that the circumstance stood out with and without Boseman:

“You don’t realize that movie wasn’t as playful between takes as the first one. When Chadwick was there, we were rapping and laughing. It just wasn’t the same dynamic. That’s one thing we We can tell you: it wasn’t the same dynamic, but it’s not possible, because it’s not the same circumstance.

The final film on the Phase 4 slate is also going to introduce the undersea kingdom of Namor and its inhabitants. This marks the addition of actors like Tenoch Huerta to the existing cast. Winston Duke went on to say that despite having so much fun with all the people around you trust and love, the feeling of tragedy still hits hard at times:

“Joy was sometimes very easy to find because you are also with joyful people. And it turns out that we are dealing with a tragedy. We are dealing with the immense loss of someone we truly loved and knew as a person.

There’s no denying that Chadwick Boseman’s absence is still felt as an incredibly painful loss for all of us. But now we can only hope he rests in peace.
