Canadian born MMA competitor Elias Michael Theodorou was well known for competing in the UFC middleweight division. He was ranked 13th when he left the UFC. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us. He died on September 11, 2022 from cancer.

Theodorou won the middleweight division at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finals and previously competed as Canada’s middleweight representative in The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs Australia. MFC veteran Sheldon Westcott was defeated in the second round by technical knockout.

Background

Born in Greece, Theodorou was raised in Mississauga, Ontario and attended Meadowvale High School.
