Maggert won the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, the final event of the PGA Tour Champions season, on November 10, 2019. Maggert won the tournament in very exciting fashion. He beat Retief Goosen with an eagle with a corner of the fairway on the third playoff hole.
2017

2015
At Regions Tradition in May 2015, Maggert won his first major senior title and his second Champions Tour event. He beat Kevin Sutherland in a sudden-death playoff on the first extra hole with a birdie. They tied at 14 under par at the end of regular play.
2014
Maggert won the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic, which was his first Champions Tour event. He was the 17th player to do so. He also became the seventh person to win on all major tours organized by the PGA Tour (PGA Tour, Web.com Tour and Champions Tour). He finished with a score of 11 under par, two shots better than Billy Andrade.
2012
Maggert missed the start of the 2012 season as he underwent shoulder surgery in June. In 2011, he only played 18 events and made the cut in six of them. He went to School Q to make up for the nine starts and $567,086 on his exemption. Maggert was unable to meet the requirements for his medical exemption, so he finished the 2012 season as a Q School/Nationwide Tour graduate. He was 123rd on the money list, which was just enough to keep his PGA Tour card.
2008
