Clive Roslin battled cancer – Update on his health in 2022
The Roslin family has not had an easy life. They had to deal with serious problems regarding the health of their loved ones, one after another. But it brought everyone closer together.
Gaby’s father, Clive Roslin, was a broadcaster. About 25 years ago he was told he had colon cancer.
Shortly after Gaby’s family came together to help her, Gaby’s mother fell ill. Later, the family discovered that while her mother was in and out of the hospital, she had a tumor in her lungs which was hidden by a pulmonary embolism.
Gaby had to chase a lot of feelings from her heart as she spoke about this difficult time. She posted a video to her Instagram on February 21 with the caption,
“This one is hard for me to post. Please listen. If we could save one person’s life, that would be great. This week, 24 years ago, my mother died of lung cancer. If a family member or friend has been coughing for more than three weeks and it is not COVID-19, please tell them to call their doctor.
Most likely, it’s nothing serious, but if it’s cancer, catching it early can make treatment easier and save lives. @nhsengland #HelpUsHelpUs check out my stories if you want to see the whole video. Thanks.”
She talked a lot about what was going on in an interview. Gaby’s family was going through a difficult time when Gaby’s father fell ill and her mother passed away. The Marie Curie nurses who helped Gaby’s family were her only source of hope at the time.
Her life changed in many ways losing her mother and caring for her father, who in a sad turn of events found out he was cancer-free a week after Gaby’s mother died. . Having a positive outlook on life has helped her and many other people a lot. She’s wanted to make other people happy since she was three, and she probably always will.
For this reason, she hosted “That Gaby Roslin Podcast” during the pandemic. In it, she asks famous people to talk about the things that make them the happiest. She never meant her optimism to come across as condescending towards people who are sick or really depressed, but she believes that everyone can share a little love and positivity during difficult times and that laughter is the best medicine.
