The last star wars series, Andorhas officially arrived on Disney Plus and received an overwhelmingly positive reaction on Rotten Tomatoes.
Andor explores the story of Diego Luna’s Rebel spy, Cassian Andor, who was once seen helping the Rebellion capture the Death Star plans in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It provides a grainier, more ground-level view of the star wars universe.
The first three episodes of Andor all arrived on Disney Plus today, and the series quickly earned a Rotten Tomatoes “Fresh” score.
At the time of writing, Andor has a score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, which is based on reviews. The star wars The series also garnered an impressive 80% viewership score. Current scores are based on 240 critic ratings and 166 audience ratings.
The first three episodes of Andor focus on Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor on the run after an altercation with two Morlana One Corporate Authority sentries turns sour. The series finds Cassian searching for his sister when he has yet to join any effort against the Empire.
The initial response on Rotten Tomatoes paints a positive picture. Although it is not guaranteed that Andor will continue to impress, if the series continues on its current streak, it looks set to please star wars fans with his new version of the saga.
A second season of Andor has already been confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm. While the first season takes place over a single year, five years before the events of A thug and A new hopeseason 2 will cover the remaining four years until A thug begin.

“The ‘Andor’ series will explore a new perspective on the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series tells the story of the budding rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets got involved It is a time filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
Andor stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Genevieve O’Reilly. Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy, Stephen Schiff and Beau Willimon served as writers for the Star Wars series, while Toby Haynes, Susanna White and Benjamin Caron directed the episodes.
