In a podcast titled Phase zerodirector Anu Valia spoke about the series’ drop in ratings but urged fans to hold on because the series’ final episodes would be absolutely shocking to fans and would take completely unexpected and unprecedented turns.

“I think the rest of the season is so fun and different, and ideally not what you expect. And so I hope people are surprised and kind of like, ‘Oh, they’re having fun with this.’ So keep watching it.

The director especially hinted at the future role of Daredevil that we will see in the next episodes of She-Hulk. Ever since the teaser featured Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock, fans have been eagerly awaiting his return as the series moves further into the She-Hulk script. Here’s what series writer Jessica Gao had to say about Daredevil’s return,

Well, first of all, we were shocked to be able to use Daredevil. Like, when we first heard it was on the table, I mean, we couldn’t believe it. We kept thinking, ‘Okay, at some point, someone is going to say, ‘Just kidding’. Like, ‘That’s a cruel joke, and you can’t have it.’ And it just went on and on.

Fans have been ecstatic since a yellow and red Daredevil helmet was seen on the recent episode of She-Hulk. As Matt Murdock’s return draws nearer, fan hype is also growing.

She-Hulk Was trolled for inspiring the series

It was revealed recently in the friends from work podcast for which Anu Valia was inspired She-Hulk watching Taika Waititi Thor: Ragnarok (2017). Fans followed the series and the movie as both got terrible reviews to their name with similar complaints from fans.

The series of She-Hulk currently sits at a 5.1/10 rating on IMDB and 87% on Rotten Tomatoes as people consider crit bombing a possible culprit. The series has been embroiled in some controversies over racial diversity, among other things. The next episode of She-Hulk: Lawyer will be released on September 22 in streaming on Disney+
