American sports comedy Ted Lasso will soon see its main character as a playable manager, with his entire team in FIFA 23 and fans are excited to see the character of Jason Sudeikis in the game. Being the latest installment in the FIFA series, the upcoming video game is expected to feature the American football coach as a manager.
The game would include not only the players and the manager, but also kits, tifos and other game-related items. They will all be unlockable in FIFA Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs.

Ted Lasso’s team in the big leagues
The team members of Ted Lasso, Roy Kent, Jamie Tartt, Sam Obisanya, and Dani Rojas will all be playable characters in the game, with the fictional Nelson Road stadium also being part of the game when it releases.
Although they will not be available in the Premier League during Kick Off, Online Friendlies and Online Seasons, they would still be available to play in the Rest of the World section of the game.

Jason Sudeikis has expressed his feelings about this opportunity. To say further that he is a fan of the EA Sports game and seeing the whole AFC Richmond team in FIFA 23 is truly a moment that feels like a dream come true for him.

FIFA 23 brings Ted Lasso into a new era
Posting from the show’s official Twitter account, Jason Sudeikis showed himself being scanned, earlier hinting at a project with a video game which has now been confirmed to be indeed. FIFA 23. EA Sports has hinted at a collaboration with Ted Lasso many times before, since its 2020 debut, creating huge following for the show and its comedic angle.
How the team and Lasso himself fit into the game is still unknown, however, what can be assured is that they will amazingly unite fans of FIFA and the series. FIFA 23 will be available on consoles worldwide starting September 30, 2022.

Fans have been ecstatic since the news broke, with some joking about playing the game just for the sake of it. Ted Lasso, others stating what a huge win it is for the show and the game both. Some seem to like the game’s animation so much that they can’t identify the CGI.
