‘That Episode Was Cruel’: She-Hulk Episode 6 Charlie Cox Daredevil Reveal Breaks Internet, Fans Accuse MCU Of Unnecessary Hype To Get Views

Fans counted the days until Charlie Cox’s first appearance in She-Hulk: Lawyer since it was originally revealed that he would be reprising his role as Daredevil. Fans wait for each new episode to see if we’ll finally get our first sight of Cox in action as Matt Murdock. However, there was no mention of Daredevil or any appearance of the Devil from Hell’s Kitchen until last week.

Of course, we’re still concerned that the Tatiana Maslany series is more of a parade of other Easter eggs and references, but there’s no denying that the Daredevil Mask created a super cool highlight for what we saw this time around. It sets the stage for a lot of amazing things, and we think we’re going to have a pretty awesome, action-packed adventure the rest of the way.

How did they introduce Daredevil into She-Hulk?

Spoilers ahead: if you haven’t watched the 5th and 6th episodes of She-Hulk then I would suggest you go back and read something else.

In the fifth episode of the series, Nikki secures Jen an appointment with a well-known designer for creating clothing for affluent clients, including custom clothing for people in the profession of saving others. He nearly fires her until he notices Jen transforming back and forth between her two personalities to demonstrate the need for a costume that could accommodate both her human and Hulk forms.

Although we didn’t get to see Jen’s She-Hulk costume at the end of the episode, we did get a look at another client’s costume through a moment that has already gone viral. The designer walks past a hatbox and yells at his assistant for putting it out in the open while Jen tries on her new costume in the dressing room.

When he puts it down, we see Daredevil’s signature helmet – now in an updated yellow color – and a section of his new outfit hanging in an open garment bag in the background as the episode goes dark.

The stage seemed to be set for Daredevil’s arrival, so he made his long-awaited debut in She-Hulk episode 6?

Daredevil in She-Hulk episode 6

Daredevil’s appearance in She-Hulk episode 6 appears to be next after his intro was hinted with the display of his modified yellow super suit at the end of She-Hulk episode 5. It’s safe to say though that Daredevil doesn’t debut in the sixth episode of She-Hulkneither Charlie Cox play Matt Murdock.

To be honest, it’s kind of disappointing that the episode didn’t reward with Cox’s presence or even some other hint of his character’s impending arrival.

Right now, it looks like there may be some validity to reports that Daredevil might not appear until Episode 8 of the series, which would be extremely upsetting. Let’s hope he makes an appearance in episode 7, even if it’s only at the conclusion since we’re dying to see Devil of Hell’s Kitchen on our screens again.

She-Hulk: Lawyer streams on Disney+, with new episodes every Thursday.
