Considered one of the best adventure films of all time, The MummyThe production of included several sets, but many scenes were shot in Morocco and the Sahara. The intense heat almost caused dehydration, the sandstorms were huge problems and the wildlife was so crazy that people had to be airlifted to avoid getting bitten.

Brendan Fraser’s scene where he was hanged almost took his life, literally. The filming of this scene was marred by several errors. The actor shared this horrific experience in his interview with Weekly entertainmentsaying he “completely suffocated.” Fraser did the close-ups while a stuntman was required on most wide-angle shots.
