House Of The Dragon Episode 7 Scene-Wise Teaser Breakdown
The teaser opens with the coffin of Lady Laena Velaryon who asked her dragon to burn her alive. This was mainly because she did not want to share the same fate as Lady Aemma Arryn, first wife of King Viserys I. The coffin is then thrown into the sea according to Velaryon tradition. We see King Viserys, Ser Laenor, Queen Alicent, Aegon, Rhaenyra, and other members of House Targaryen and Velaryon.
Everyone was there to pay their last respects to Lady Laena Velaryon, wife of Daemon Targaryen and mother of Rhaena and Baela Targaryen. There’s a voiceover from Lord Corlys who probably expresses grief over his daughter’s death, saying, “What is this brief mortal life but the pursuit of a legacy?

And the scene changes to Rhaenys Targaryen removing some of her rings as a voiceover from Otto Hightower says: “We’re playing a dirty game!” »
This indicates that Ser Otto Hightower is now back and planning to play a nasty bet in the realm to win the throne of Aegon II Targaryen.
In the next scene we will probably see Vhagar, the fire dragon Laena Velaryon. There is a mystery as to who would ride Vhagar, the greatest dragon in all of Westeros and the world. We then get glimpses of Rhaenyra recounting how everything the Targaryens possess is due to fire. Right in the next scene, Rhaena Targaryen informs someone that someone stole Vhagar.

It was possible for Rhaena to ride Vhagar as she was the only one in their family without a dragon. But, in King’s Landing, even Aemond Targaryen was dragonless. So there might be a possibility that Alicent and Otto stole Vhagar for him. Time will confirm who rides the great Vhagar after Laena.
Alice’s High Tower
In the following scenes we see Alicent and Rhaenyra talking about betrayal and debt. We then see the violent actions of Alicent using a dagger against Rhaenyra. At the same time, Otto Hightower is seen with Aegon, meaning that Aegon is going to learn politics from his maternal grandfather. The teaser ends with Rhaenyra telling Alicent that now people will see her for who she really is.
There is supposedly a scene where Rhaenyra and Alicent will confront each other about their insecurities. Probably, a conflict must have arisen between them, which made Alicent violent towards Rhaenyra.
