New photos show Emilia Clarke back on the set of Secret Invasion for reshoots of Marvel’s upcoming Disney Plus series.
It’s not yet known who Emilia Clarke will play in the new Marvel series, which centers on a Skrull infiltration of Earth. The series will see her appear alongside Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, Don Cheadle’s Rhodey, Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill and Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos.
Clarke was seen joining reruns in London, which apparently doubled for a Russian location judging by the set dressing.
Fans were left in the dark about who Emilia Clarke could star in Secret Invasion and whether she was cast as an existing Marvel character or an original Disney Plus series character.
While details of Clarke’s role remain a closely guarded secret, new photos show her wearing a leather jacket for the sequences which apparently take place in Russia. The photos show Russian texts on buildings and vehicles, as well as inflatable Russian dolls in the street.

The footage also shows a few other actors on set wearing long coats, looking particularly menacing. The series will mark the first time Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury has been seen since 2019 Spider-Man: Far From Home, when shown on a space station working with a Skrull team. Presumably the Skrulls appearing in Secret Invasion are not Fury’s allies.
