Marvel got everyone excited at D23 Expo, as Kevin Feige showcased all of the upcoming movies and shows in Phase 5 and Phase 6. Excitement levels are even higher when the President of Marvel announces The Fantastic Four. But unlike other films and shows, Feige didn’t feature the entire cast of the film. Instead, he simply called out the name of Matt Shakman, who was sitting in the audience, and announced that he would be directing. The Fantastic Four. Marvel has yet to reveal the film’s cast, leaving fans with only one option.
After seeing John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fans began to speculate that Marvel had cast the actor for the upcoming film. However, this all ended up being just a rumor. It was not the first time that such a rumor appeared and certainly not the last. More recently, rumors started that Rachel Brosnahan would be joining the MCU as Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four.

Rachel Brosnahan Reportedly Joined the MCU as Sue Storm in Fantastic Four
Rachel Brosnahan, who appears in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, is the latest actress to join the casting rumors The Fantastic Four. The actress is rumored to star as Sue Storm in the upcoming Marvel movie.
The Emmy-winning actress recently responded to rumors that she would love to play Sue Storm. Brosnahan has almost finished filming the popular show’s final season The wonderful Mrs. Maisel.
In an interview with ET Online, Brosnahan was asked if she would consider joining a Marvel project like The Fantastic Four. Responding to the question, the actress said: “Absolutely! That would be great.“
Addressing the casting rumours, she also said she hadn’t heard anything, but here she is, and she’s almost done with it. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Would have Rachel Brosnahan be the right choice for Sue Storm?
Rachel Brosnahan is best known for her role in the ongoing show, The wonderful Mrs. Maisel. The actress has shown a talent for bringing depth and complexity to two-dimensional roles. Considering a superhero story isn’t exactly known for being character-driven, Brosnahan should bring out the best portrayal of Sue Storm.
However, she is not the only name on the list. Other contenders for the role of Sue Storm include Emily Blunt and Jodie Comer. Since the movie has a long time to come out, anyone can get the part.
The Fantastic Four has two more years to come out and looks like Marvel is planning to take their time with the movie. Kevin Feige said earlier that The Fantastic Four would not be an origin film. Fans were disappointed with the news but happy to finally get a The Fantastic Four movie after the disastrous 2015 version.
Rumors also say that Marvel will reveal the cast of the The Fantastic Four in the coming weeks. Fans can also experience the new Doctor Doom in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, while rumors seem to indicate that Ryan Gosling will appear as Doctor Doom in the post-credits scenes of the upcoming film.
The Fantastic Four is scheduled for November 8, 2024.
