Early life

On January 28, 1992, Faruqui was welcomed into the world by his Indian Muslim parents in Junagadh, Gujarat. When he was 16, his family moved to Mumbai after sectarian violence in Gujarat in 2002 caused the destruction of his home. Shortly after this tragedy, his mother died.
