Hugh Jackman seems to be just as excited as Marvel fans about his upcoming return as Wolverine in 2024 Dead Pool 3.
Hugh Jackman’s return to his iconic x-men The role was recently revealed in a video shared on social media by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds. Dead Pool 3 will mark the first film in the franchise to be set in the MCU, meaning this may be Jackman’s Wolverine’s last chance to make an appearance.
Asked about his decision to return recently, Hugh Jackman shared his excitement at the idea of returning to Wolverine’s clutches.
Video shared on TikTok sees Hugh Jackman asking what convinced him to bring Wolverine back to the big screen in the MCUs Dead Pool 3.
In response to the question, Jackman simply said “Come on!” I make my own decisions,” suggesting he didn’t need convincing. He’s also seen mimicking Wolverine’s claws in the videos. Clearly, Hugh Jackman is thrilled to bring his most beloved character back to life.

While a follow-up video to the initial announcement seemed to confirm Dead Pool 3 would take place before Loganexplaining that Wolverine is still alive, no details have been confirmed regarding how Hugh Jackman’s much-loved mutant will take on the events of Dead Pool 3.
