How did Savannah Paschal die?

Savannah Kinchen’s parents, Michael and Shirley Kinchen, welcomed her into the world in August 1990 in Pasadena, Texas. As a child, she kept herself busy by engaging in a variety of sports and activities, including gymnastics, swimming, dancing and horse riding. The woman, who was 30, was seen as kind, compassionate and helpful, and she had a soft spot for stray and abandoned animals. She was a student at the Commonwealth School of Mortuary Science in Texas at the time of the incident, and she was due to graduate in May 2021.

On top of that, Savannah had been married to Trent Paschal, and the couple had two children together: a son and a daughter. On October 21, 2020, authorities were ordered to make a hasty move to the Paschal family residence in La Marque. Shirley Kinchen discovered her daughter Savannah motionless in the bedroom. Savannah had been there for some time. She suffered two gunshot wounds to the abdomen, which ultimately proved fatal; the young mother was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital after being taken there for treatment of her injuries.

Who Killed Savannah Pascal?

Shirley Kinchen, who was in the house at the time of the assault, immediately said the perpetrator was Savannah’s husband, Trent. It was brought to her attention that Trent had been hiding in the master bedroom toilet before suddenly emerging and threatening to kill her and Savannah. Shirley was able to get away from the house and she had just started running when she heard two bullets fired. While Trent was gone, Shirley went to get something to eat and when she returned later, she found her daughter bleeding on the floor. After that, Trent moved to Houston, Texas, where he fought his way out of police custody. He was eventually killed after being accused of pointing a gun at a police officer at the time, during which he was shot.

After that, Trent was rushed to the hospital, where he remained for a considerable time during his recovery. In the meantime, authorities have found evidence that has helped them understand the reasons for the shooting that took place. They were told by a neighbor that on the morning of the incident he had seen Trent and Savannah arguing, and that following the argument, Trent left the house. After that, Savannah walked to a close neighbor’s house before returning with her mother. Authorities were under the impression that Trent was waiting for them in the next bathroom stall.

Shirley later revealed that her daughter informed Trent that she was unable to continue living with him due to him being a repeat offender. Despite the fact that Trent had previously been charged with theft, he had never been charged with anything aggressive until this day. Additionally, investigators uncovered a video that Trent had filmed and then uploaded to YouTube. He told his daughter that he loved her and that he was proud to be her father. Elsewhere in the video, Trent mentioned Savannah saying, “I knew she was a little too young. I didn’t, and she’s been taking advantage of me from the start. I warned her to don’t touch me, don’t interfere with my feelings, and she ignored my warnings. Please don’t laugh at me.

Trent also claimed he overheard Savannah discussing a sexual fantasy with another man while they were on the phone together. A video allegedly obtained by one of the neighbors shows Trent talking to Savannah’s aunt and confessing to shooting his wife. The footage was recorded by one of the neighbors. After posting bond and being released from jail in April 2021, Trent removed the ankle monitor attached to him while in custody, then drove to a Houston dealership selling automobiles. There, Trent allegedly requested a test drive, and later is accused of threatening the salesman with a gun and forcing him out of the vehicle before driving off.

How did Trent Paschal die?

A tip was given to authorities in late 2021 indicating that Trent, who was 48 at the time, was residing at an RV park in Ocala, Florida. By then, he had been on the run for about nine months and a little more. Therefore, on December 31, 2021, authorities came to the park and demanded that Trent get out of the van he was living in at the time. However, they heard a gunshot, and when they went to see him later, they found he had shot himself in the head.

Even though Trent had already broken two of his bail conditions, the judge did not revoke his bail before fleeing the area with two guns in his possession. Shirley felt the system was ineffective and she asked, “Did I want him to be held accountable for his actions? Did I have the courage to meet his eyes and force him to confront me once again with the consequences of his actions? Yes. Do you feel bad that he is no longer a part of this world? Nope.”
