Every once in a while, there is that particular TV series or movie on the streaming platforms that becomes the main topic of discussion on the internet for the coming weeks. The latest addition to this list is Netflix’s latest crime thriller based on Jeffrey Dahmer, the notorious American serial killer whose story is currently making the rounds on the internet.
Title ‘Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’, the TV series is Netflix’s newest limited run series that tells us all about the chilling events of Dahmer’s serial murder spree from the perspective of his victims. Unfortunately, Dahmer’s outrageous actions have sparked a weird obsession with the serial killer, and the obsession is getting ridiculous.

On one side of the internet are people who have discovered a new distaste for Jeffrey Dahmer as the hit TV series skyrockets Dahmer’s life and wrongdoings.

The disgusted section of the internet has rallied around Rita Isbell, the sister of Errol Lindsey, one of Dahmer’s seventeen unlucky victims. Isbell spoke out against Netflix’s sensationalism of Jeffrey Dahmer in a tweet that has now gained over 400,000 likes on the platform.

There is, however, a distinct crowd from above who have taken a liking to the props that once belonged to the serial killer. These props, or keepsakes as its current owner Taylor James calls it, are currently for sale in case anyone is interested in buying them.
James runs Cult Collectibles, which sells a LOT of collectibles associated with Dahmer in one way or another. A notable collectible that is currently being sold is Dahmer’s Jail Glasses which are currently on sale for the exorbitant price of $150,000.
We’re pretty sure having collectibles on your favorite things is a good idea, but owning items that once belonged to a notoriously deplorable individual is definitely not a good idea.

It’s a relief to know that people are rallying against the select group of people who, for some strange reason, collect Dahmer’s artifacts. And it’s not even free, thousands of dollars are invested in buying these items and we can’t figure out why.
