Rarely have there been instances where a Marvel series has received criticism beyond the label of “constructive.” But after the Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Lawyer was released in August, the majority of its reviews seem to be based on its disapproval.
However, that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the fault of the show’s production or cast. It seems some fans just don’t get along with the show; their perspectives don’t seem to match the overall plot of the show. That, or it’s just the toxic masculinity that keeps them from enjoying the show.
Marvel fans keep criticizing She-Hulk: Lawyer
People seem to have a lot to say against She-Hulk, and much less in its favour. From poor or no character development to unnecessary filler episodes, lack of a solid storyline and mediocre-at-best action, fans came up with a bunch of insults to throw at the latest series. Disney+.
What’s worse is that the show is nearing the end of its nine-episode first season, and its audience still seems unimpressed.

The plot revolves around Tatiana Maslany’s character, Jennifer Walters, in her thirties, exploring life in all its different yet complicated aspects, while trying to navigate through all the ups and downs thrown at her. It’s a journey of She-Hulk who also happens to be a lawyer, on life’s difficult but thrilling quest.
But it seems the story didn’t reach many viewers as they continue to bring the show down with their censorship. However, this time, one of the cast members decided to take a stand against those negative opinions.

Jameela Jamil speaks out against She-Hulk hateful
She-Hulk Co-star Jameela Jamil, who plays Titania on the show, recently shared a video of herself standing in New York’s Times Square and eating McDonald’s fries. She captioned the video saying, “Waiting for the last episode of She-Hulk like.”
But the comments she received were quite upsetting as the men instead tried to troll her.

Jamil explained how most people pretend to dislike She-Hulk turned out to be men who can’t seem to break the cycle of toxic masculinity.
Responding to a particular tweet that taunted the star for her caption, asking who exactly is waiting for the new episode of the series, the 36-year-old actress asked, “lol…why are so many men upset?” Is everything alright ? »
The right place star rightfully set up the haters by commenting, “Some men are exhausting to women and have no responsibilities.”
Although the tweet in question has been deleted, another tweet describes his character in She-Hulk be nothing but a joke in the last episode. To this, the actress made a very smart remark saying, “It’s a parody. That’s the point. You still don’t understand that 7 episodes in?”
Even after people constantly try to hang around She-Hulk in the mud, Jameela Jamil is adamant about focusing on the bright side of it all, where she is ” to live his dream “ and is more than happy with how her life is going.
The first season of She-Hulk: Lawyer was released on Disney+ on August 18, 2022.
