she hulk episode 8 was crucial. With the arrival of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, the episode is packed with action. However, while fans and audiences are engrossed in Jenn and Matt, there are references to two important Marvel characters that may have eluded them. And that’s none other than Wolverine and Red Hulk. This happens during the last 10 minutes of the show as Jennifer Walters prepares for the gala. She was nominated for the Lawyer of the Year award.
She-Hulk References Two Important Marvel Characters
Jen is busy breaking the fourth wall as she speaks to the audience. She talks about how the season finale is here and obviously a twist is brewing. While talking about what could throw a wrench at her, she mentions that it could be another Hulk. The only difference is that this one is red. This obviously refers to Red-Hulk aka General Thaddeus Ross. Literally, seconds later, her best friend Nikki Ramos is jumping into frame with makeup brushes and pencils between her knuckles. This one is again obviously a reference to Wolverine. She even poses as a superhero at first. So what do these references mean for the MCU?
She-Hulk has already referenced Wolverine once during episode 2 via an easter egg news article. Additionally, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman announced that Wolverine arrives in the MCU with Deadpool 3. His presence in the universe of She-Hulk is therefore not a surprise. But the question about Red Hulk remains.
Does this confirm that Red Hulk is coming to the MCU?
There have been rumors of Red Hulk appearing in the MCU ever since Project Thunderbolts was announced. However, with the unfortunate passing of William Hurt, who played General Thaddeus Thunderbolt, Ross fans wondered how this would affect Red Hulk’s involvement in the MCU. Red Hulk has been an important part of the Thunderbolts team in Marvel comics. But there was no mention of him when the official roster was announced at Expo D23. Nonetheless, there have been several clues that have once again reignited the rumor that Red Hulk is coming to the MCU. In fact, some reports claimed he would appear in Captain America: New World Order instead of Thunderbolts.
Some fans believe that Red Hulk will be an all-new character. Instead of Thaddeus Ross becoming Red Hulk, some have speculated that Jen’s cousin Ched would take on the role instead. Belonging to the same family tree, he could also have the special genes that allow the absorption of gamma radiation. Additionally, fans noticed that Ched wore the color red in most of his appearances with red shirts and red shoes. And now, with this new reference, the possibility of him being introduced into the MCU has become all but confirmed.
