Marvel’s Disney Plus Series Agatha: Chaos Coven is configured to present a familiar face from Wanda Vision.
Actress Emma Caulfield, who played Westview resident Dottie Jones, in Wanda Visionrevealed that she was returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to Agatha: Chaos Coven, a new Disney Plus series with Kathryn Hahn. Known as Sarah Proctor in the “real” world, Dottie was the neighbor of Wanda Maximoff and The Vision, appearing in four episodes of The Marvel Project.
Emma Caulfield broke the news during a recent interview with Vanity Fair, focusing on her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis (MS). Caulfield talked about working on Agatha: Chaos Coven with MS after having problems on all of Wanda Visionwhich was filmed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
” I’m going back to work ! Everyone has been notified who needs to be notified. I can’t put myself through what I’ve done with it Wanda Vision Again. I can not do that. They did nothing wrong…. They had no idea what was happening to me,” Caulfield recalled. “They didn’t ask me anything like, ‘I need to call my agent!’ They just ask me to sit down and chat and do my dialogue. It’s not hard… [I told them now] knowing that I shouldn’t be going out in this heat at all. And if I am, I have to take a lot more precautions than I do.
Agatha: Chaos Coven is currently slated to premiere in winter 2023 on Disney Plus. Production is set to begin later this year, with the series rumored to use the working title “My Pretty.” Kathryn Hahn and Emma Caulfield are the only ones confirmed Agatha cast members so far.
