However, as She-Hulk said her thanks, the Intelligencia took over the gala virtually. They started playing a scary and disgusting video and harassing She-Hulk audio. It was basically the same thing they were showing on the website. They even went so far as to call her a slut. Audiences could already see that She-Hulk was affected by what she was seeing. However, she finally broke down when they started playing a video recording of her and Josh and the night they spent together. Although Mallory Book tried to warn her and stop her from losing control, she punched the screen. His single punch echoed through the room and knocked out all the electricity in the room.
With the destruction caused, those present became frightened and began to flee from the auditorium. She-Hulk then spotted a guy wearing a mask that somehow covered his face and ran after him. But once she reached the outside, she was surrounded by reinforcements who pointed guns at her and told her to stand down. For the first time, She-Hulk was seen as a monster and she realized it too. If fans notice carefully, she can be seen having the same low growl as the Hulk.

So we already knew that the Intelligencia was trying to acquire She-Hulk’s blood and use it for experimentation. But this incident shows us that they have more in store for her. We must remember that Intelligencia is made up of highly intellectual villains capable of coming up with elaborate plans. Additionally, the Intelligencia was created by none other than Samuel Sterns aka the Leader. The best way to defeat She-Hulk is to paint her as a dangerous villain. After all, we’ve seen what happens when people are scared of a superhero. Public opinion and fear had held Bruce Banner captive for years until he figured out how to control his anger. What happened at the gala was a public stunt conspired to incite She-Hulk and evoke her rage. The plan was probably for her to lose control and Hulk out.

As for what they’re planning next, it could be the origin of Red Hulk. The Intelligencia itself had created Red Hulk as a way to take down Hulk who otherwise seemed indestructible. And after the reference to Red Hulk in this episode itself, it has become more than just a theory.

The Leader Could Be the Mastermind Wanting to Obtain She-Hulk’s DNA
There are a few things you can expect from the season finale. One would be a conversation between Jen and Bruce. Jen would need Bruce’s help and guidance to keep her anger in check. It might also give us some insight into where Smart Hulk is now. Another character who could return is Josh. After all, fans really want to see Jen Walters Hulk Smash Josh after his betrayal. The finale will also reveal the main mastermind behind Intelligencia who is most likely to be the leader though there’s no indication he’ll appear in the MCU before Captain America 4. If anything, Todd Phelps, the She-Hulk and Wakandan item-obsessed guy may turn out to be the villain. Although he doesn’t seem too smart to pull off all of this on his own.
