Henry Cavill’s Return as Superman in Black Adam
According to multiple sources on Twitter, the highly speculated black adam The post-credits scene, which has been tinged with an aura of intrigue and mystery for months, has apparently been confirmed to feature Cavill’s Superman. The return is marked by what many have called the “classic suit”, accompanied by the ultra-iconic score of John Williams for the years 1978 Superman: The Movie.

DCEU fan arguments for the theme song
While many claim the details surrounding Superman’s alleged streak in black adam, in particular the choice of costume with the music, prioritize and perhaps emulate Joss Whedon’s take on the DC character, others have argued that in a storyline where news of the return appears as the audience’s only hope for a decent future of the DCEU, people shouldn’t complain.

Three things to note:
– Yes Henry is back and his costume is similar to JL’s but with brighter colors
– if you cry on the theme then you are a bitch

There is only one Superman, stop with the BS of Joss or Snyder. Isn’t Cavill what we all wanted?

Imagine the next time you see Battinson, you hear Keaton’s theme because it’s “more recognizable”… no one would agree with that. It’s so disrespectful https://t.co/xZDkLsihWi

I love the Zimmers theme and it should be the one they would use if DC had more success.
But the Williams theme is iconic, and for his return, it only makes sense that they use the one everyone knows best.

While both sides appear to have valid positions, it’s far too early to tell exactly what the post-credits sequence will entail. Although we have a small idea of how this is going to play out, the execution of the scene matters the most in the end. With Cavill’s return setting up the franchise for what seems like a bright future, the proper use of an appropriate theme song could have some implications.
For now, however, fans will just have to accept whatever has been granted to them. For years and months, the public could count on a deep sense of endless hope and lukewarm, half-hearted speculation. What we now have in front of us seems more concrete than what seemed possible before. So whatever the theme, the throwback itself spells out a potentially great narrative and endless future possibilities.
Everything will soon be revealed.
black adam, with Dwayne Johnson in the lead role, will be released in nearby theaters on October 21, 2022.
