Early life and education
XQc grew up in Laval alongside his brother Nicolas – their parents divorced when xQc was just a year old, after which the boys spent equal time with their mother and father.

Denial failed to pay its players and, as xQc stated, they owed them $2,800 each when the team disbanded. The boys then formed their own team, calling themselves YIKES! before changing it to Arc.6 – they qualified to compete in Overwatch Contenders season zero, but lost in the group stage. Their last tournament together was the Beat Invitational: Season 2 which they finished in third place.
