Henry Cavill hasn’t played Superman in Warner Media’s DC Comics Universe movies in a while, having last worn the cape and tights Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Today, however, speculation has started to surface that Cavill could be set to return for a reunion with Dwayne Johnson’s old-school anti-hero, shortly after his world premiere in Mexico City.
black adam Set to hit theaters shortly, but premieres and test leaks have taken the film in an unexpected direction. This leak goes on to discuss the film’s narrative as well as hinting or rather confirming Henry Cavill’s Superman return in a cameo.

Superman’s role in Black Adam
Dwayne Johnson built anticipation for a Black Adam-Superman showdown long before Black Adam was even in development, and it became an almost inevitable part of Johnson’s DCEU debut.
According to a new leak, Cavill will appear in the Jaume Collet-Serra-directed film. Although the details of the report drew a mixed reaction from followers, the news is cause for jubilation. To say that supporters of the SnyderVerse and the Cavill-Superman Edition are thrilled would be to understate the significance of such confirmation.

And, while this is just unsubstantiated speculation, it does allow us to dwell on one of our favorite elements of these leaked reports: the fact that Cavill’s return would come with the classic John Williams character theme.

In the post-credits scene of black adam, Amanda Waller tells Teth Adam not to leave Khandaq as it is now his prison. He has answered: “Or what!? there is no one on this planet who can stop me. In that case, she says she will bring someone from another world to take care of him.
Waller tells Black Adam that he better not leave Khandaq. It’s his prison now. He says something like “Or what!? There’s no one on this planet who can stop me.” and she says in that case she will ask someone who is not from this planet to take care of him.

And suddenly, out of the smoke and shadows, a figure in a cape flies away, and it’s Henry Cavill, who tells Adam that it’s been a long time since someone made the world this nervous, and that they should talk.
Hardcore Zack Snyder fans criticize this, because in Zack Snyder’s view, Superman is seen as the epitome of justice, and following a government agent, especially someone as cunning as Waller, is contrary to his politics and Snyder’s vision.
