“What If The Rock Was About Sabbac, Not Superman?”: Black Adam’s “No One On This Planet Can Defeat Me” Commentary May Not Be About Henry Cavill

Fans seem to be going wild with countless speculations and theories as DC’s release date black adam approximate. And amid rumors of Henry Cavill’s Superman return, stands the fan theory regarding Sabbac’s role in the upcoming movie.

In the recently released trailer for the film, Black Adam is heard talking about how undefeated he is and will continue to be. Regarding the same, fans are cooking up a major theory on how the anti-hero could just be referring to Sabbac and not Superman.

Fan theories claim Black Adam will be defeated by Sabbac

In one of the first previews of the film, Dwayne Johnson, who plays Black Adam, brags that there are “no one on this planet who can stop” him.

Earlier, fans speculated that this comment would mean Henry Cavill’s Superman would be the one to defeat Black Adam, as the former is an entity not from this planet. This in turn bolstered the rumors of Cavill’s return to DC even more, as people became convinced that they might see him in black adam.

However, a completely different theory seems to have surfaced regarding Black Adam’s comment, one that focuses more on the red-horned demon than the red-cloaked hero. And given DC’s reputation for leaving its fans in tortured anticipation of its superheroes, that just might have some substance.

Who will surpass Black Adam?

According to the latest fan theories, it won’t be Henry Cavill’s Superman who will surpass Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. Instead, the latter is going to be defeated by the film’s main villain, Sabbac.

Who is Sabbac - Black Adam Villain
Sabbac in DC comics

Like the protagonist himself, Sabbac draws his power from six of the most dangerous and diabolical demons in the underworld, including Satan, Aym, Belial, Beelzebub, Azmodeus, and Crateis. The names of these demons also form the acronym of Sabbac’s own villain name.

While Superman’s origin could be traced to a completely different planet, Sabbac technically doesn’t belong on that world either. And since the fire-breathing demon is a being who also comes from another world, fans believe that Black Adam’s comment that no one from this planet can surpass him, might simply imply that Sabbac, a demon from another planet, will be the one who surpasses him.
