Gina Carano is a maverick and was once a famous MMA fighter. Along with Cris Cyborg, she was one of the pioneers of women’s MMA. After hanging up her MMA gloves, she moved into the world of acting and made a name for herself there too. She starred in big banner movies like Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and dead Pool (2016) and seemed unstoppable. Then she landed the role of Cara Dune on the Disney+ show The Mandalorian and was there for two seasons. However, things got worse when she made a few controversial social media posts. In response to this, Lucasfilm fired her.
In a recent appearance on Tucker Carlson Today, the former MMA star has revealed how Lucasfilm treated him and how he felt.

Explaining her side of the story, the mandalorian The star told Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson:
“I was just trying to keep my head down, not cause trouble – work hard, get the next job, be really excited to be a part of every project, make sure you do your job the best you can and keep going. to crawl forward to solidify that career where you can eventually be like, okay, I’m ready. I’m ready.”
Speaking about trans rights hashtags and her refusal to comply with company guidelines, Gina Carano then said:
“When I wasn’t hashtag for trans rights, I wouldn’t be putting my pronouns on and as they kept going on it, pressuring, and eventually I just said, ‘I don’t do that'”, “I don’t didn’t even know what people were talking about. I just wasn’t aware of the pronoun thing, which apparently has been happening for about seven, eight years now, right?”
Next, she detailed the instructions allegedly given to her by Lucasfilm and spoke about her disagreement with some of them and how she felt:
“Lucasfilm called me and they were like, ‘Okay, we’re going to need you to do a zoom call with 45 members of our LGBTQ community and we need to get you on the phone with those people,'” a- she added. “We have to make you watch the media and make you watch all these films about trans life. I was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to watch your documentaries and I’m going to talk to your people, but I’m not going to have a zoom call with 45 different people who can pull out their phones to videotape me.’ I feel like this is extremely abusive.
Her relationship with Lucasfilm and Disney ended. However, she found opportunities elsewhere.
