Henry Cavill’s return to the DCEU bandwagon has been a hot topic of discussion for the past few months. An active force fueling this wildfire has been Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is set for his electrifying debut in the DC Universe. Since it was announced that The Rock would set foot in the DCEU with black adam, almost everyone wanted the character to go against the Kryptonian. Speaking in a recent interview with Emmy-Winning Entertainment presenter Jake Hamilton when the Carnage star was asked about his take on the face-off scene with Superman, he responded in a very interesting way. According to him, he is so clear in his vision that he can also visualize what the next three films would look like. This provided a major clue that we may be getting more Kryptonian than expected.
“I can see very clearly what this scene looks like, what the movie looks like, what the next three movies look like…”
Following this, Dwayne Johnson also dropped another bombshell. While explaining the importance of listening to his fans, he explained how the most powerful force in the universe has been sidelined for so long.
“So over the last 10 years as I pushed Black Adam up that hill to get made, over the last five, six, seven years I was also listening to the fans at the same time, where you got Black Adam – we would create Black Adam to be the most powerful and unstoppable force on this planet. The most powerful and unstoppable force in the entire universe has been on the sidelines for far too long.

Various events hinting at Superman’s return in Black Adam

The added nod at the end mentioning “on this planet” created an internet buzz as the fandom was assured that all the rumors were true. On top of that, some scouting reports suggest the Man of Steel appears with the classic John Williams background score in the post-credits scene of Black Adam. But we have to wait a few days now to find out how realistic these reports are.

But even before Superman, Teth Adam aka Black Adam will have to face the Justice Society of America in the film. The famous comic book organization will also be played by a cast of ensemble stars with names like Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, Aldis Hodge and Noah Centineo.
Black Adam will be released in theaters on October 21, 2022.
