Ruth Ann Buzzi was born on July 24, 1936 in Westerly, Rhode Island, United States. She is the daughter of Rena Pauline and Angelo Peter Buzzi, nationally recognized as a stone carver.
Her father also owned Buzzi Memorials in Wequetequock Cove, subsequently managed by her older brother named Harold until his retirement in 2013.
