He expressed his gratitude to everyone who was determined to bring his character back into the MCU on a more permanent basis and was thrilled to find out how many people believed in him. And he certainly wasn’t shy about accepting that without the audience, he might not even have been able to return as Daredevil.

Charlie Cox did not expect Daredevil: Born Again happen

A while back, Charlie Cox was interviewed at the D23 Expo, about his thoughts and feelings on finally becoming an official part of the MCU, now that his own series was in the works. And the English actor revealed a rather sentimental side behind his gaze. “Man, this is so…you know, emotional.” I find it really moving.” said Cox.

He also revealed how willing he was to give up hope on Daredevil’s position at Marvel. “Emotionally, I had put that to bed,” he admitted. “This character was made for me” Cox agreed saying he felt he had no choice but to put him behind him.

But you know how sometimes certain moments in life seem surreal? Well it was just like that The defenders star resented his situation with Daredevil. “It’s too good to be true” he remarked.

It looks like MCU fans weren’t the only ones getting tons of excitement.
