With the current Marvel-Sony deal prohibiting a team-up on the Disney Plus streaming platform, there’s still a chance New York’s most recognizable street heroes will appear on the big screen together, possibly in Spider-Man 4 .
According to multiple sources, the upcoming film starring Tom Holland contains a “street-level storyline” that could examine what happened after the events of Daredevil: Born Again.
The possibility of seeing Daredevil and Kingpin in Spider-Man 4 is intriguing, and there’s previous evidence to suggest that could be the situation.
Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, had hinted that “Spidey is headed for street heroes,” making it very obvious that in his next film he will focus on defending New York City rather than the multiverse. Because of this, he could come into contact with Daredevil as well as other defenders like Luke Cage and the Punisher.

In the comics, as soon as Fisk was elected Mayor of New York, he was able to ban all vigilante activity and issue a warrant for Daredevil’s arrest. Daredevil Born Again could lead to Fisk becoming mayor of New York and putting it into action to eliminate any potential rivals, like Spider-Man. Therefore, Spider-Man 4 could examine the effects of the law. It’s possible the fourth movie will open with Daredevil imprisoned, and Spider-Man will have to help him escape so they can work together to take on Kingpin.
Given that Daredevil Reborn will premiere in the spring of 2024, it may be true that it will end before the supposed July 12 release date for Spider-Man 4 and could continue Daredevil’s journey alongside Spider-Man 4.
