Fans React That House Of The Dragon Is Half The Length Of Game Of Thrones
Although fans are conflicted seeing the multiple time jumps, they understand that it was necessary for the series starring Matt Smith and Emma D’Arcy to fit all the important aspects into a certain framework. Some characters may also have been omitted, but that wouldn’t interfere with the storyline itself.

They also seem to like the fact that having shorter seasons would avoid stretching storylines that could easily be covered in a few episodes. Having four seasons would focus precisely on the story of the Targaryens and their history without drifting and focusing on storylines more than necessary. The later seasons would naturally gain as much hype as game of thrones did. The author’s vision for the series might just be the right path for the series and its ever-growing fame.
